Join the Bega Show team as a volunteer… or consider joining the committee

About 8000 people attend the show which makes the Bega Show one of the biggest regional events providing something for everyone in our community.

To run an event this big requires lots of people power. So come and join us.

We have lots of roles where you could help us. These include:

Gatekeepers– 4 hr shifts. 20 volunteers needed – over 18 yo.

Bar Staff– 3hr shifts,  8 volunteers needs- over 18 and have a current RSA

Stewards working in Main & Art Pavilion, Bar (RSA required), Woodchop, Shifts 2-4 hrs. 20 + volunteers needed- over 18 yo. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Animal Nursery helpers-  working in the Animal Nursery Pavilion, under guidance of steward- to ensure the well being of all animals. Feeding, watering, grooming and stall cleaning.  This is a very popular pavilion and you will need to be good dealing with crowds too!

Animal Stewards– working in the main arena with horses, or working in the cattle arena and dairy pavilion. Main arena shifts of 2-4 hrs Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Must have experience working with large animals

Cattle and dairy shift 2-4 hrs Saturday only

General assistants– 12 + needed. 14+ yo

Volunteers, with your complimentary pass you get to meet lots of interesting people, entertainers….AND sustaining meal and drink vouchers. And of course the thanks of the Show Committee.
